NEHSA bears witness to the triumph of the human spirit by helping people with disabilities and their families enrich their lives through adaptive sports, recreation, and social activities. The non-profit's goal is "to be the best ski/ride program for people with disabilities in the East". With interest in their programs growing yearly, NEHSA wanted to add onto their base lodge at Mt. Sunapee Resort. I worked over a period of 5 years, initially assisting them with a review of pertinent building, life safety, and accessibility codes, and ultimately, providing construction documents, coordination with the general contractor and structural engineer, and assistance with local and state approvals.
