This efficient home for a young professional fits 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths with open plan kitchen / dining / living space into just 1360 square feet. The house sits on a full basement and has a single car garage. The Owner came to me with a magazine floor plan and the decision to build a SIPs (Structural Insulated Panel) house. There are no studs in the walls or rafters in the roof, just the “sandwich panels” of sheathing and rigid insulation and a couple of large ridge beams.
