Eastman Vacation Home, Grantham NH
The Owners of this lakefront property wanted to modernize the 1980’s layout and look. Moving the stair down to the lower, walk-out level was a priority, in order to open up the dining space to the kitchen. Their contractor questioned whether the stair would fit where the Owners wanted to relocate it. It didn’t. I designed a floor plan that achieved their goal by moving the stair to the front of the house. The renovations also included a new kitchen, master bath, and created two bedrooms and a bath in the existing garage. Phase 2 will include a new attached garage and covered entry porch.
